The Xbox Cloud Gaming service has officially exited its Beta phase, promising smoother gameplay and more responsive experiences, particularly for Ultimate subscribers who will also benefit from enhanced streaming quality up to 1440p.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is now priced at $29.99 per month, incorporating more day-one game releases, Fortnite Crew, Ubisoft+ Classics, and the improved cloud gaming experience. The Standard plan is upgraded to Premium at $14.99 per month, providing access to over 200 games and new Xbox-published titles within a year of launch. Core subscribers will transition to Essential, remaining at $9.99 per month, offering a curated library of over 50 titles, online multiplayer, and cloud gaming.
Chivalry 2 Joins the Game Pass Library
Adding to the growing Game Pass library, the acclaimed multiplayer medieval combat game, Chivalry 2, is now available on both Xbox and PC Game Pass. Alongside its inclusion in the subscription service, a new update for Chivalry 2, titled "Reinforced," has been released. This update introduces a new map called Hippodrome, designed to showcase mounted combat, and a new dual-wielded weapon, the Katars. Additionally, mounted combat has been integrated into existing maps like The Raid on Aberfell and The Siege of Rudhelm.
Players can also opt for the Chivalry 2: King's Edition, which includes exclusive cosmetic armor, in-game currency, and premium currency. This edition is available for PC and will be released for consoles in October. Existing owners of the Special Edition can upgrade to the King's Edition for $9.99, while base game owners can upgrade for $19.99. The King's Edition is priced at $59.99 on its own.
